On this year’s “Tour de Sweden”, Philipp Helmle and Michael Knobloch were able to reach further long-term agreements with Northvolt, Volvo Truck and Stena Recycling.

The tour started in Gothenburg at the strategic partner Stena Reycling AB. Here, further agreements were made in the field of lithium-ion battery recycling in Scandinavia. In addition, Stena Recycling ordered the latest generations of SafetyBATTboxes for its portfolio. The delivery of the LogBATT transport boxes can be implemented as early as November 2022, despite full order books!

Then it was on to Volvo Truck. There, the final decision was made on the Europe-wide equipment of Volvo Truck Service Centres with the SafetyBATTbox XL 2 and XL 2+. In addition, Volvo Truck has decided on the European disposal of critical lithium-ion batteries by the LogBATT fleet. The contract was signed back in February 2022. The LogBATT Group’s total solution for battery logistics was a decisive competitive advantage.

The tour ended in Stockholm. Northvolt, as the leading manufacturer of lithium-ion batteries in Europe, also opted for the SafetyBATTboxes for transport and safe storage. Last but not least, strategic cooperation in the field of disposal logistics for HV storage was negotiated.
